Magswitch Vertical Featherboard
The Magswitch Vertical Featherboard extends the Magswitch Workholding System with an additional vertical workpiece guide. When used together with a horizontal featherboard, the workpiece is simultaneously pressed against the fence and down onto the machine table. This enhances control over the workpiece, improves machining quality, and significantly reduces the risk of kickback.

- The Vertical Featherboard mounts vertically to the starter kit, applying controlled downward pressure on the workpiece.
- In combination with a horizontal featherboard, the material is pressed both laterally against the fence and vertically onto the table.
- The additional workpiece guidance improves precision in routing, sawing, and machining operations.
- The downward pressure helps to minimise vibrations and workpiece movements during processing.
- The system offers added protection from kickbacks, both horizontally and vertically.
- With the included risers, a double hold-down setup can be created, allowing for safe handling of taller workpieces.
- Flexible positioning on virtually any steel or cast iron surface.
- Ideal as an extension for existing Magswitch Workholding Systems.
- Note: For use as a magnetic featherboard, the Starter Kit, the Universal Base with 2 MagJigs 150 or the Featherboard Pro is required.
